The third edition of MoTechEco, ended on 14 February at the New Fair of Rome. It was produced for the first time in cooperation with Automechanika Roma, the division of the Fair of Frankfurt. It included the best professionals in the maintenance, repair and after sales service.

The Exhibition area covered 15 thousand square meters of indoor and outdoor spaces and enjoyed a considerable success around 50,000 admissions and more than 100 endorsed journalists.

Over 200 new technologies and low environmental impact vehicles showed at the exhibition area by the companies that took part at the event. They illustrated their projects, samples and the latest news available in the market to reduce harmful emissions caused by transport.

Great success was achieved from the large participation of many experts and visitors who joined 13 meetings between major conferences and workshops, with about 80 speakers invited to discuss and deepen the current topics focused on the sustainable mobility.

Moreover the audience rewarded the great strength of the Fair this year, reporting the attendance record to almost 50 thousand visitors, including 21 thousand of operator professionals. Great attention was showed by experts and visitors interested in the subject of sustainable mobility, including many families involved in several activities to take their children’s attention on environmental and road safety issues. Many school trips to the fair were organised; 5,000 students aged between 8 and 18 years were present at the exhibition areas devoted to education, information and fun.

The show was enhanced by interesting previews, test-drives, children's workshops and exclusive exhibitions which made the key to success to benchmark the subject of sustainable mobility in Europe.

The success of the Fair was confirmed by the qualified words of Donald Wich, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Italy who consolidated the already successful alliance by creating a new industrial center in Rome: "With MoTechEco we are testing a new layout of business fair focused on the eco-sustainability campaign which will be the new Motor Show. This is a new project to create a link between the vehicles of the future and the self-repair promotion cars in response to the new technologies".
